Dollars first

HOA pet waste station cost: $15 a week, then the 4.33 month

Boards ask for a price before they argue about vendors. Scooponomics puts one number on the table: $15 per station per week, weekly service only. Monthly is that week × 4.33. Annual is the month × 12. It is a board estimate, not a formal quote.

The only rate on this site

Weekly = $15 × stations. Monthly = $15 × stations × 4.33. Annual = that monthly number × 12. There is no frequency picker. Weekly is the method. Hardware (the can and the bag rolls) is a separate shop line — this page is the service math.

Board estimate at $15 per station per week
Stations Weekly Monthly (× 4.33) Annual (month × 12)
1$15$64.95$779.40
2$30$129.90$1,558.80
4$60$259.80$3,117.60
6$90$389.70$4,676.40
8$120$519.60$6,235.20
12$180$779.40$9,352.80

Copy a row into the packet as an estimate. If last month’s invoice is higher, type that spend on the calculator to see potential HOA savings on the results cards — no popup. A walk of the property still writes the proposal.

What the $15 line is for

An HOA pet waste program is two jobs: residents bag waste at a station, and someone empties the can and restocks bags on a weekly rhythm. The $15 rate prices the station count you already have, or the count you want on the route. It does not price a one-time install, a custom enclosure, or a mid-week extra pickup.

Overflowing cans are a service problem, not a reason to hide the count. If the map is a guess, say so. The visit still has to confirm gates, trails, and where bags actually run out.

Cost is not the same as station count

A common starting layout is 2 stations per 40 homes. Trails and amenity loops can move the map. The money still uses the number you type. Apartments can use the same dollars — treat units as homes on the apartment service page.

Worked example — not a named community

180 homes, 4 stations, $450 a month now. Weekly estimate $60. Monthly estimate $259.80. Annual at this rate $3,117.60. If that $450 bill is real, the calculator can show the gap. Load the same inputs so every director sees the same screen.

When a board should get a quote

Use the estimate to agree on a station count. Request a quote when you want someone to walk the property — gates, greenway edges, a dog run that looks finished in the brochure, or a landscaper line that is quietly picking up what missed the can. The form is on the home page. Inbox follows from there.

HOA pet waste station cost questions

How much does an HOA pet waste station cost per week?

Scooponomics prices weekly station service at $15 per station per week. Weekly service only. That is a board estimate, not a formal quote.

How do you turn $15 a week into a monthly HOA number?

Monthly estimate is $15 × stations × 4.33. Annual is that monthly number × 12. Four stations are $60 a week, $259.80 a month, and $3,117.60 a year.

Is the $15 station rate a bid?

No. The page labels it as an estimate for boards. A site visit still writes the real proposal, and a local company may bid higher or lower.
